RESERVATION POLICY:
Prices are per night per room per 2 persons. The price includes all taxes and 2 breakfasts per night. Children younger than 8 years are free. The price for an additional person is 35 USD per night.
A bank deposit for the first two nights of stay or a valid credit card at time of booking secures the room reservation. The balance will be charged by cash or traveler check on your arrival. There are no refunds for earlier checkout. Paying a deposit or sending a credit card information confirms that you have read all the information below and that you agree to our Terms and Conditions.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellation of your reservation made less than 15 days before your check-in date will result in deposit being forfeited or the credit card being charged with two nights. All cancellations made more than 15 days before the check in date, the deposit will be refunded, banking fees will be charged. You must notify us with a minimum of 15 days prior to your arrival date of any changes to your reservation. All changes in reservation dates are subject to availability.
CHECK-IN TIME IS AFTER 4 PM AND CHECK-OUT IS AT 12 NOON.
Please let us know if you will be arriving later than 10 pm as we must make arrangements for late arrivals. In the event that a Tropical Storm or Hurricane warning is issued for the Riviera Maya by the Mexican Authorities, and the hotel Piedra Escondida has to close, we will refund the full amount of your deposit (if you have not checked in). If you have already arrived to the hotel, a 50% of the unused balance of your reservation will be refunded, or we can reserve the remaining days of your stay for a future visit to Piedra Escondida. We do not issue refunds for flight cancellations. As there is no power grid on the beach and we have to rely on alternative energy sources such as solar panels and wind generators, we do not allow the use of hairdryers, irons or other such appliances that require a high power source. Other devices like cell phones, cameras, laptops, etc. are allowed.
